潮汐式灌溉方式（欧美称tidal或ebb and flood）是基于潮水涨落现象设计而命名的一种节水灌溉方式。该方式利用了育苗穴盘底部的排水孔，在灌溉时使水位没过排水孔，水分自下面上地被基质自然吸入，既保持了叶面干燥，又可防止淋洗式灌溉导致的肥水流失，适用于各类盆器及穴盘栽培植物的种植管理。微环境恒温育苗床通过潮汐式底部补水方式，使根基环境自然达到相宜的含水量，地暖使用发热均匀的电镀膜取代传统电热线作为恒温热源，电热膜的热点转换率要高于点热心，且为面状加热，膜上各点发热量均相同。

种植盘由3层新的、抗紫外线老化（UV稳定）和抗化学性的高抗冲击性聚苯乙烯材料共挤而成，种植盘具有独特的排水槽设计，盘四周边缘部位略低于中心部位，有一个2mm高差，从而使水分更易蒸发的边缘部分水位高于中央，使种植效果均衡。使用潮汐灌溉苗盘，使得植物保持干爽状态，降低了温室湿度，可减少病菌滋生。大量的氧气随着营养液被输送到作物根部，使根部系统发育更有活力，减少了根部疾病，促进植物生长。作物可以同时同步地均匀浇灌，便于控制，提高作物品质。灌溉可以实现全自动操作，提高灌溉效率，降低人工成本。所有的灌溉用水都可被收集并循环使用，把对水资源的浪费降到较低程度，同时降低昂贵的肥料使用成本。
